Gray Wolf Pup Makes First Public Appearance at Wildlife Science Center Event

Stacy, MN - The Wildlife Science Center has a really fun surprise for our upcoming Midsummer Night’s Dream event! Philo, our western gray wolf pup, will be making an appearance in our east education building at 6:30 pm! He is truly an amazing ambassador for wolves in North America, and helps us broadcast the one-of-a-kind research done here in collaboration with Duke University answering the question we all ask: What is the difference between wolves and dogs? Come meet Philo and learn more about this amazing study!

Our Midsummer Night’s Dream is happening this Saturday, August 13th, from 5 pm to 9 pm. Join us for an evening of wolf howls, raptor tales, and amazing food and drink. We are delighted to welcome Burnt Chicken's Food Truck. Yes, they are mobile now, as well as in their delicious spot in St. Paul! We are also thrilled to welcome our good friends from Bent Brewstillery who are providing the beverages. Doors open at 5 pm. Come roam and watch animals, try your hand at howling, relax by the fire, and enjoy Meg's personal playlist.
