Harvest Howl

Join us for this unique annual event featuring autumn family fun among the wolves, raptors, bears, cougars and other resident wild ​animals. Enjoy educational demonstrations, shop with local artisans ​and vendors ​selling their wares, and get a great meal from PJ’s Grill food truck​! Bent Brewstillery will be on-site providing adult beverages. Presentations include Remarkable Reptiles, Working Dog Pack and Raptors of the Great Lakes Region . All event proceeds benefit the Wildlife Science Center. Have fun and help fund raise for a great cause!

Kids 4 years old and under are free!

Dogs on a leash are welcome.

Tickets can also be purchased at the door (credit card or cash). Note that we are not able to provide change if paying in cash. Please plan on bring exact change, or consider donating the few extra dollars! We apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Grito coffee: A micro roaster of Fair trade organic coffee. Will also bring hot coffee for sampling

  • Heart of a Border Collie Rescue, Inc: Heart of a Border Collie Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping Border Collies, Border Collie mixes and other herding breeds in need. We will be selling beautiful, toasty-warm wool and fleece mittens, many with unique themes, appliques and buttons. In addition, we will offer dog blankets and snuffle mats. Everything for sale in our booth was handcrafted in Minnesota and donated by the artisans - 100% of every dollar raised supports our programs.

  • Jessica Moore: Handmade items including hats, scarves, headwraps, fingerless mitts, boot cuffs, dish rags, scrubbies, jewelry and more

  • Klemme Home and Garden: Garden salsa, hot sauce, pickles other canned goods, sourdough bread. Fresh veggies. Handmade earrings and plant propagation stations.

  • KNS Junk Removal: We are KNS Junk Removal! We are a team of professionals who provide junk removal and property clean-out services. Equipped for providing services for commercial and residential clientele. We are a small business that is family ran and veteran owned!

  • Matty's Heart & Soul Animal Rescue: we will have some miscellaneous items for sale... toys, apparel, and have a spinning wheel for $1 donations. Also will have adoptable dogs onsite.

  • Minnetina: Laser cut and engraved wood items.  Home Decor, jewelry (mostly earrings), wild life themed items. Personalization with portable laser will be available

  • Northwoods Humane Society: Information about Northwoods Humane Society, pictures and animals available for adoption, and educational materials.

  • Rachel Topka: Original art, prints, magnets, greeting cards, bookmarks, and ornament, featuring animals, fantasy creatures, and pets.

  • Ruff Start Rescue: Ruff Start Rescue is a foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue committed to connecting people and pets. We're devoted to saving at-risk companion animals' lives while empowering animal lovers with essential resources.

  • Save-A-Bull Rescue: Save-A-Bull Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of bully breed dogs. We will share information about our rescue, adoptable dogs, and resources for dog owners such as facilitated pack walks and access to spay/neuter services

  • SBK Dogs Co.: Dog-Centric Apparel + Accessories and Digital Art

  • Six Paca Acres: Handmade Alpaca products. Hats, scarves, ear muffs, rugs, purses. Homemade jams. wool coats that have been embellished.

  • Shooting Star Art: Original paintings, prints and other items inspired by original art.

  • stewARTdezigns: Paintings, photo key chains and packs

  • Tiny Heinies, LLC: Tiny Heinies partners with local rescues to bring puppies to events for snuggles. Our goal is to bring more awareness to rescue initiative, spot light the pups we are bringing to said event, and also share the specific rescue partner that joins us for the event. 20% of the proceeds are donated back to the rescue as well.

  • Telli’s Jelli’s: Homemade jam, jelly along with salsa and pickled veggies

  • The Druzy Daisy: Crystal bracelets, necklaces, and key chains

  • This Hippie Life!: Hand-crafted and all-natural bath and body products, including body butter, body scrub, salves and balms, and shower steamers. All products are scented with essential oils and packaged in plastic-free packaging.

  • Tiny Workshop Productions: Bigg Bits are organic, benefit-selected dog and cat treats, formulated with nutrients to assist with digestive, joint, and skin/coat health.  All ingredients are human-grade and sourced from Seward Co-op, and the packaging is fully compostable. 15% of all sales is donated to The Bond Between, a pet food shelf in Seward.

  • Working Dog Pack: The Working dog Pack which is a collection of folks with purebred working dogs such as the Siberian Husky, Samoyed, German Pinscher, Bernese Mountain Dog, Norwegian, Elkhound, and Great Pyrenees.
